Under the pretext of the need to widen the existing road and make way for an even greater number of cars, the mayor of Bucharest has approved construction of the new boulevard Uranus. A large number of old houses (including some heritage) located on the historic street Berzei have already been demolished or are about to be demolished.

Demolitions leave behind a city without history and without a past.

And that, despite all the protests of civil society.
